Welcome to a brand new (ish) podcast. Do you remember that I used to produce a weekly vidcast of the latest releases? Well, I miss talking about them, so I thought I'd start a new show, aimed precisely at talking about the new releases of the week. This is episode 1, which looks at the new releases for w/e 15th April 2011. I hope you enjoy the show. |

Hello Everyone! Yes, we're back! After far too long, we've finally managed to get ourselves on opposite ends of the same piece of technology and record a show. As you may expect after such a long absense, most of the show is spent catching up on things that have happened since we were last together...so the subject matter is quite wide ranging (no change there then!) Be warned - it's a long show! At 150 minutes (ish) it's probably the longest we've done, but hopefully that won't put you off too much! Pour a glass of something, grab and chair and join us 'On the Veranda'.

Welcome to Episode 73 of the Meeples & Minaitures Podcast. In this show, I take a look at the new release from Ambush Alley Games & Osprey Publishing; the Force on Force Modern Wargaming Rules and the Road to Baghdad Scenario book. As well as an in-depth review of the rules, the show contains interviews with Joseph MuCollough from Osprey Publishing, and Shawn & Robbie Carpenter from Ambush Alley Games. We discuss the new rules, how Osprey came to publish them, and what the plans are for the future. All that, as well as some of the usual chat about what I've been gaming in the past few weeks. It's a packed show, so you may understand that it's a bit longer than normal (2:30) I had a huge amount of fun producing this particular show - I hope you enjoy it. |
